PAHO Foundation Joins Health and Consumer Industry Experts for the CGF’s Sustainable Retail Summit

Montreal, Canada (October 2-3, 2017) – PAHO Foundation leadership recently attended the 2017 Sustainable Retail Summit (SRS) in Montreal, Canada. The SRS, hosted by The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF), is a yearly gathering of retail, consumer, business, and health experts, aimed at galvanizing coordinated action toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other positive actions to solve some of today's biggest industry challenges, ranging from food loss and waste to the eradication of forced labor practices.

At the SRS, the Foundation’s President and CEO, Dr. Jennie Ward-Robinson, led a presentation during the Health and Wellness session, which accentuated the importance of leveraging cross-sectoral partnerships in achieving sustainable, positive health outcomes for entire communities and regions.
